Video in Toronto After Dark's 5th year!

It's the Toronto After Dark's 5th year running and in celebration we were asked to make a tiny little short video*. The Film Fest runs Aug 13-20th at Bloor Cinema this month, go see our short (skip getting extra butter or smarties for your popcorn) because they will only play it a few times during the festival run. It looks like they have an awesome lineup (Robogeisha and Rubber look real neat),so we maybe there too, so say hi.
here's the full lineup:

Webisode X: Max Blax Magix

Family Contact dabbles in the nocturnal mystical arts. You can never have had too much of a good thing, but this could be the last episode in our Webizodes series, for a while, in case you didn't pick up on that.

We've been working hard to explore new and exciting ideas in our next series, slated for release in September. http://livingwithfriends.com will be your fun spot that you can find that at, once it's up.

Living with Friends is coming soon

Lately we've been pining our time and filming a new series, it'll be releasing weekly starting this September.

Here'e the direct link to the teaser.

Vampire Slayer Dreamstakes

FAN FICTION alert! Indie writer & collager Samantha Clark has brought a tease to true fan fiction fruition. This is the opening to the upcoming episode. Age might have been a factor with some of the original actors, and we don't want to blow our budget on digital makeup in post, so we forevisionally shot with these young stars (more info). It's going well.

technology these days

technology is moving at flashlight speeds. I remember only last year did Efehan and I discover the magical automated editing solution software Muvee. A dream tool for any editor who maybe short on time and wants to make experimental art. We love it and are going to use it more and more.

Now there's a revolution in previsualzation with xtranormal (found through friends on FB), just type in the script, change a few camera angles, set your action and facial emations and you made a movie. See the one I made (below).
